National Center for Remanufacturing and Resource Recovery

Worldwide leader in the promotion and development of remanufacturing

The National Center for Remanufacturing and Resource Recovery (NC3R) is internationally-recognized as a leading center for research in remanufacturing. Since 1990, NC3R has worked to develop, test and implement efficient and cost-effective remanufacturing processes while also promoting the design of products that have minimal negative environmental impacts. In honor of their leading research in the field NC3R received the 2006 National Pollution Prevention Roundtable’s MVP2 Award.

The center conducts research in structural and materials analysis, environmentally responsible cleaning technologies, intelligent testing and diagnosis, and design for remanufacturing.
